I am trying to figure out what I should be eating...I have a crazy-hectic schedule, and do my best, but I just want to know - is there anything you absolutely need to get into your diet?
Protein and calcium are extremely important, as is folic acid. A wide variety of fruits and vegetables are also extremely important.
Your doctor didn't give you any nutritional guidelines? Really?
Go buy the book Eating for Pregnancy - read it and use their recipes. Many of the recipes are good for multiple meals, which should help your busy lifestyle.
