How to get play-doh out of clothes?

Luc is loving his play-doh right now, but just sat in a glob of it.  Its really ground into his shorts.  Do I just wait for it to dry up?

I think it will come out in the wash pretty easy.  It's just flour and water.

I rememebr reading on the package to just let it dry and then scrape it off.  I've had to do this several times on the carpet and it has worked.  I'm sure that it would also come of in the wash.
