DS is circumcised and I noticed this morning that the area where you pull the foreskin down from the head of his penis is pretty red (I actually thought for a minute that it was blood, but it's not - it's just that red).  It's not red all the way around, just on one side.  I always try to make sure to clean that part when changing his diaper, but maybe I missed something.  I feel so bad and I'm not sure exactly what I should try and do for it.  Any suggestions?  I thought about maybe some A&D ointment or would Desitin help it?  TIA!

I would go with neosporin on the area and then call the pedi on Monday....

3 days after he was born.  I was definitely surprised to see it like that this morning.

DS's did that and she told me to just put Neosporin on it when I change him. Not sure what caused it.?
