Cincinnati Babies

anyone hit up OUAC this morning??

I just got back :)

I got there a few minutes after 9:00 to get a good parking spot, thinking they opened at 9:30 like usual but they were already open.

I got 2 bags full of fall & winter clothes for Jack and the new baby... the original total (their prices) was almost $200!! I only ended up spending $15 though because I had a $5.00 coupon and a $10 store credit.  Yay for bargains!!!

AND about 1/3 of the stuff I got is new with the original tags!

The best bargain of the day: A brand new - original tags still on - size 9-12 month - navy blue courduroy Gymboree pea coat for baby Henry this fall/winter :) Woo hoo! That alone made the trip worth it :)

They have a much better/nicer selection this year than they did at the bag sale last year.

  • I just got back as well.  I got there around 9:15 and they were already open as well.  I got a bag full of stuff that Grif will be able to use this summer and next winter.  I was hoping to find him a coat, but the coats on clearance were not in good condition or very girly.  I found a few that I liked but they weren't on clearance.  Why wouldn't all of their coats be on clearance?  hmmm.  I was very happy with what I got. Lots of Gymboree pants and a few button downs from Children's Place.  I also got the cutest navy Easter suit that will be perfect this year!

    Hannah, how did you get a coupon?  I wish I would have had a coupon!

  • I'm totally jealous that I didn't have a coupon, but I got $100 worth of stuff for $15 so I'm happy.  Should have looked at the coats, but my boy is so big, who knows what size he'll be then.  He's 2 months and already in 6-9 month, and according to the tags, they won't even fit for long.  I got a bunch of 6-9 and 12 month.  The 12 month stuff looks so big though!  I hope he won't need it for awhile.
  • I must be out of it - but what is OUAC!?
  • glad you guys got some deals!

    OUAC= once upon a child =)

  • I went to the one in Mason around 10:45am. It was really picked over. I did not get as good a deal as you guys. I only saved about $46. There wasn't much left for 0-12 months in girls clothes. Boo!! ?Next time I will have to go earlier. I didn't know they opened at 9:30am.

  • I filled 2 bags so I spent $30.. but my original price was $200. I am sure retail was well over $500! I missed out on all of the girls clothes for Rylee but scored on clothes for Parker for the next 2 years!
  • I went after our playdate to the Beckett Ridge OUAC and got a TON of 24 mos, 2T, and a few 3T/4T for $45.  The "amount I saved" was close to $400!!  They were laughing about how much I crammed into those bags.  Thanks Amanda for the tip on rolling :)  Most of the clothes are Gymboree, TCP, and Old Navy and in great condition.  I was so happy with my trip!!
