I had a Ford Explorer V6 for work that could pull a small trailer.  I had a V8 when I had a bigger trailer.  Right now I have a Sportrac that I HATE.

 We're only going to have 2 kids so as long as it can work for that.   As long as it can pull a 28' passport ultra lite camper, I'm happy.    I just want to here from "real" people who have Fords.......  I'm hoping to not get another truck, but DH said we have to get a Ford because he wants to trade in his lease and buy a vehicle.   I like our current Ford truck, but I want more of a "family" vehicle.  I hope this makes sense.    Please continue on with the recs. and experiences!  Thanks!

We have had an Explorer for 4 years now and it's been great (knock wood)

I have a V8 Explorer Sport Track that I really like, except for one thing-it's hard to get cargo in and out of the p'up bed.  The Tonneau Cover is very heavy, and the truck is high, so it's a PITA to get the stroller out, etc.  But, I love everything else about it.  We have it on a lease, so I'll likely trade for an explorer next time.

I have a Ford Expedition, and I love it. It is my second one, and I doubt we will every buy anything else. We pull our boat all the time, and my husband has used it multiple times to pull his 18 ft. bobcat trailer.
