do you love it? Which one do you have? Is there another stroller you wished you had gotten instead? DH said we should get a really nice stroller this time b/c with #1 we just used a stroller frame for the car seat and it sucked. Thanks!

Re: If you have a bugaboo stroller
I don't have the bugaboo, but I have pushed it a number of times. There are a lot of other nice strollers that IMO are just as, if not more functional than the bugaboo.
The baby jogger city Classic or Elite
The Mountain Buggy Urban
The bumbleride Indie
The Easy Walker Sky
Two of those have a bassinet option. All are easy to push, similar in weight to the bug, have a car seat attachement. I could have bought the bugaboo for less money than the Mountain buggy I ended up getting because I had a huge gift card to a store that carried it, but after I test drove them, I much preffered the mountain buggy and 2000 miles later, I still do. I am sad to be giving it up for a double in a few weeks.
I love mine, and don't have ANY regrets about getting it. It's been used and abused, daily for 2.5 years, and I prefer it over any other stroller that I've ever tested.
I love the way they look, and it's the most comfortable stroller for DS. I am so bummed they don't have a double yet.
I have the Peg Pergo Skate. I tried the bugaboo when I bought the Skate and preferred it. The skate is my 4th stroller, so I have plenty to compare. The reason I picked the Skate over the bugaboo was because I liked the look of it better and it seemed sturdier to me. The Skate has a reversible seat instead of a reversible handle and I liked that better. The reversible handle on the bug felt wobbly to me and I didn't like pushing it.
However, the Skate is MUCH heavier that the bug, about 10 lbs. so it is definitely a trade off.
FWIW, my main stroller for a year and 8 months was a Peg Perego Pliko and I love it. It could be used as a travel system and is super light weight and comfortable--before I became a stroller wh0re, I was 100% happy with that as my one stroller.
I LOVE my Bugaboo (Chameleon). Love, love, love it. I don't drive and walk everywhere, and DS and I are out all day - I put at least 2-5 miles a day on it, in all types of weather, on all types of road surfaces. It is very comfortable for DS, very easy to push/steer (I can do it one handed over potholes while talking on the phone - perfect!), good amount of storage, etc. I love that the seat can be either facing you or facing away (I switch it so he is facing me in the winter to block the wind from him, for example, which makes a big difference), love that it is easy to do a 2 second switch and have the large wheels in front (key this winter for getting through snow), etc.
That said, I don't drive. The one negative of the Bug is that it is heavy and a PITA to fold. If I was putting it in and out of a car I wouldn't like it as much. We have a McLaren we use for travel and the subway - The Bug isn't good for situations like that.
I heart my bugaboo also
We have the frog. But wish I would have gotten the chameleon. The under bag thing is alittle bigger and you can change the canopies on them. I do love the fact that he can face me. and all the recline oftens are so nice. Honestly we never even once used the bassinet because we used the car seat adapter instead, which is awesome too. My second option for a stroller was phil and teds...only because I can eventually turn it into a double stroller...for the future.
for traveling we have a maclaren for the airport and stuff. but I have traveled with the bugaboo too. You just have to check it.
Thanks everyone!
I already have a Mountain Buggy Urban that I used a ton for walking the dogs in the woods. I love it but it's definitely a big stroller and I don't use it for other kinds of outings.
Co: which model do you have?
I am debating between the camelon and the frog.
Thanks again.
