Miles was offered a modeling job. They want to cut his hair. Not short or anything. They just want it to have  a "style". "Long beach shag" is what the contract says.

Would you let them?

I am not worried that I won't like it. His hair grows super fast. I am more worried the he will freak the hell out. Then everything will go down hill from there.

If you know he wouldn't like it, I wouldn't do it. Then he would probably be in a crappy mood for the photo shoot and it wouldn't work out anyway. Can you talk to him about it and see what he thinks? His hair is gorgeous, I am jealous.

can you get it cut before hand so he can get used to it?  Thank God, they don't want it short.  I was scared for a min.

I would try to get Miles excited about it, then try it... his hair will grow back if you don't like it.

Talk it up and see how you think he would feel about it. I wouldn't do it though if I thought he would get really upset. I would also probably find out if there was a way to split the hair cut and the photo shoot to two different days, just so it's not as overwhelming.

Can they schedule to cut his hair a day before the shoot?  I would just try it anyway.  DS freaks out getting his hair cut but is right back to his old self as soon as he gets out of the chair.

he is so good when it comes to other people photographing him that I know he won't mind that part.

I was kind of hoping I would know the stylist doing it. That would make it easier.

I am waiting on a call back to get more details. If they gave me a photo of what they were looking for as far as hair. I know someone who he would melt like butter in her hands... so that would be great but I don't know if they are that lenient.

Why would he freak out?  Because they cut his hair?

Does he need a haircut?  If it is free and I would like the style, I would do it.  Take your DVD player or laptop and let him watch a show while they cut.  DD loves to watch a show when she gets her hair cut, otherwise she gets all teary.  Congrats!  What is he going to be modeling for?  DD always really liked her modeling shoots.
