newborn pics involved

both pooping and peeing all over mommy.  We tried the whole naked baby pics and DS cried the whole time.  I had to try and calm him down several times with a quick BF and he both pooped and peed on me.  I didn't even think of a change of clothes for me.

*Note to self* with any future kids, do the newborn pics BEFORE baby is a few weeks old and is starting to wake up

But, I did get to meet Lucyfox' Lila.  She's gorgeous and Jett is as cute as ever!!!  Lucy's dad is a great photog and my DS really put him to the test tonight!

Awww! I'm so jealous. Not only did you get to see Rinny and her darling offspring, you got to meet the new baby AND get pix taken by her genius dad. Why do I have to live in NorCal? I can't wait to see the pix, Emt!

LOL!  I was peed on three times with Cam while getting pics taken.  See my post to Mullinex below for a little preview of our pics.

OMG, those are two cute Jamie!

We are doing fine...adjusting pretty well.  DH goes to work on Monday so that will be the true test.  I really want Maddie to keep up with all her activities so starting Monday, I will be going everywhere with her...just with DS in a sling too.

You'll be fine with the two of them alone.  It's been super easy for me so far.  Cameron just fits right into the routine and I think it's best to just get out and do it by yourself and get used to it. 

How's Maddie doing with him?

I agree with Jamie. I waited a long time before I was brave enough to take the two out on my own. Once I did it a few times, it was a breeze. Now they'd much rather be on the go than at home!

I just HAVE to be more organized.  With Maddie, she was so easy I barely even had a diaper bag.  I can't be that flippant with two. 

Maddie is wonderful with Owen.  She is very gentle and just likes to kiss him and hug him, etc.  The one thing she really doesn't like is when he cries.  That is tough in the car.  If he starts crying, so does she.

Both of your kids are gorgeous. But, your DD holding Owen, melts my heart. Those eyes! And her cheeks! She's a stunner.

That's great that she's so good with him.  Owen's really good with Cam too.  Much better than I ever thought he'd be. 

I just keep the diaper bag in the car now and bring out more diapers when I need them.  I rarely used a diaper bag with Owen either, so it's easier for me to just have it ready to go in the car.  I think this time around you realize how little you actually need when going out.  With Owen I packed so much crap that I never used and this time I bring the bare minimum.
