Product Rave: Hoover Steam All-Terrain

For any of you with toddlers on carpet, you know how they can spit up, throw up, drool, drop food, spill drinks, etc. I got really tired of renting those steam cleaners from the grocery store (lugging them back and forth) so I finally broke down and bought a steam cleaner.

Holy Moly! This thing works 10x better than those rented rug doctors and take more moisture out of it when it is done cleaning. My carpets are an entirely different color now (yay and ew!).

It was easy to assemble and you do need to read the instructions to avoid mistakes (like not using any other brand cleaner in it or you might eat the gaskets up or not filling it with super hot water over 140 degrees or you can crack the plastic) but other than that it is easy to use. Storing this thing is a whole other story. Yeah, it is big. The cleanser compartment holds enough to clean a smaller bedroom. So yeah, you might have to buy more of the soap than you think that you need.

 Best Buy is having a sale on them right now. If you don't have hard surfaces in your home like tile or hardwood, save money and get the Dual V path one for $169 on sale and if you have hard surfaces that you want to do in addition to carpet, the All Terrain is on sale for $229.

I just got a steam cleaner (another brand) and can't wait to use it.  I plan on finally using it tomorrow.  We've been getting our carpets cleaned and were never satisfied.  I hope our cleaner works as well as your Hoover!
