Question about returning to Gymboree

I bought an outfit for my great nephew last night but I like a differant one now better so I need to take this one back and get the other one.  I paid with my debt card will they give me cash back or put it back on my dept card.  I just dont want to wait a week for the refund to get back in my account.

Well, if you are exchanging it for something else, what you've already paid will go toward the new outfit and if you owe extra you can pay for that however you want.  If the new one is less than the old one, they will put the difference back on your card.

The outfit is at a differant place in the mall.  So I wanted to just use the cash for the other outfit.  I know childrens place gives cash back if you used a debt and a few other stores do aswell but not sure if Gymboree will.

Okay...sorry about that.  I thought you meant you were wanting a different one from Gymboree.  Then yes, they will put the money back on your debit card.

If you ran it through as debit, they can give you cash or put it back on the card.  If it was run through as credit, it has to go back on the card.

Well I took the outfit back and they put it back on my card and to my suprise before I even left the mall the money was pending in my checking account.  Most places take about a week before its back in the account.
