Intimacy and the "snail trail"

So my "snail trail" (I read BlairWaldorf's post: funny) has been on and off for about 2 weeks.  My doctor said no intercourse until its done (you should have seen his face when she said that! lol)  but its been TWO weeks!  We tried it when it was off but I was worried the whole time about the baby. lol.  I know he understands, but valentine's is coming up... Is anyone else overly worried about the baby?

Yeah, I'm confused... I never heard that either. I know that it may make things a little "gross" if it's really bad that day or something... but it's something that you body is making naturally... so I don't see why it would be bad.

But i'm not a doctor, obviously...

My bleeding is due to my bruising on my endo-something (i should really remember these long names) so she said I should take it easy.  But the moment I think its gone.... surprise! its back in a few days.

OK, that's not your snail trail. Snail trails do not involve blood.

Um, my pregnant vag is not experiencing this snail trail.  Is this something else I get to look forward to in the coming weeks?  The constipation and explosive gas the last few days is enough to tide me over, can I pass the leakage to someone else and maybe take something off your hands at a later date?

i was gonna say, man if you can't have sex if you have the trial, you won't be getting any until at least your 6 week PP appointment.

Edit:  That sounded meaner than I meant it... I don't mean to say it's no big deal that you've been bleeding for two weeks.  I'm very sorry about that and I bet it's really nerve wracking.  I was just teasing you and your DH for thinking 2 weeks with no sex is a long time.  Sorry for sounding like a biitch.

So, wouldn't that lead someone, who has never heard the term "snail trail" before, to believe that it doesn't mean bleeding?

Relax!  She probably read it wrong.
