Pregnant after a Loss

Ummmm... major question...

What is the difference between.... not being able to hold you pee.... and well a not quite so small leak.... meaning a small water break.  It's not a gush... but enough to soak through a small pad onto the underweard.  It's clear.

Re: Ummmm... major question...

  • I don't actually know (sorry I know I'm not helpful), but it sounds to me like your water might have broke.  How Exciting!!!

  • Oh my I do not know!!!!  Is it still coming out????  If you are still leaking after emptying your bladder I would say water breaking, also, I've heard to smell it, I think its suppose to smell sweet!  I hope this is it for you!
  • Ohhhhh Babyquitta is probably gonna be here really soon!  Call your dr and let them know you think its your water!
  • Nothing more for now... should I walk around to see if more comes out... ACH..... I dont knwo what to do.
  • Maybe walk around.....wasn't your membranes stripped this week too? For peace of mind, I'd still call & let them know.
  • I would def call!  What does it smell like?
  • I'd call and ask your doctor!  i've never had a water break before so I don't know what it's like.  This sounds so exciting!!  Keep us updated!

  • I think if you sit or lie down for a bit and then stand up more may come out so you would know. I think your water broke. I hear it has a very distinct smell but shouldn't smell bad. I didn't know about it smelling sweet. I just heard that it has a very unique-to-amniotic-fluid smell.

  • Ahhhh!! I have no clue but I am EXCITED!! I hope this means baby is coming soon!!
  • It sounds like it could def be your water:)  You may want to try lying down-- when you stand the baby's head acts like a cork and can stop the flow if it truly is amniotic fluid.

    Sounds exciting!

  • i'VE HEARD YOU SHOULD LIE DOWN FOR ABOUT AN HOUR AND THEN STAND UP AND COUGH REAL HARD TO SEE IF ANYTHING ELSE GUSHES OUT.

bUT YOU CAN ALWAYS TAKE YOUR UNDIES UP TO THE HOSPITAL AND HAVE THEM CHECK TO SEE IF IT'S AMNIOTIC FLUID. BETTER SAFE THAN SORRY!

  • OH wow!!  I have no idea but how exciting!!!
