I just called the one closest to me to schedule a tour and talk pricing (for the end of June) and they said they don't have infant openings until December 2009.    I guess I was warned that daycares got backed up, but geez!

Yeah it is reeeally hard to get into a GOOD daycare!!! I had Joe on like 3 different waitlists. Luckily he got into my top choice! Good luck with your hunt!

Yes, the wait lists are brutal.  You pretty much have to go as soon as your test turns positive.

We are on 2 waiting lists with Deux and it isn't looking very good, even at our current daycare.  I am really hoping we like one of the nannies this weekend.

can you put baby on the waiting list for Primrose so that when he hits 1 year he could be in there?   

Really it's at 1 year that I was SO glad to have him in there.  The learning is amazing...
