call in to doctor - BP still on the high side

My doctor took my BP last week at my appt. and it was starting to creep up... I run low to begin with and it was 132/85. ? They did a urine test and there was no protein in it which is a good sign.

I had 3 spells over the past few days where I see like floaters in my vision for a few minutes and then they are over the for the day. ?Since I'm working a school I've been having the nurse check my blood pressure a couple times/day. ?So far it's always been between 124-142 over 93. ?The 93 is consistent.

?I called my MD just to see if they have anything they want me to do specifically before my appointment next week. ?She said to call if I had severe headaches, but I haven't had any of those so I hope we can get this under control. ?Just waiting for a call back.

your bottom number is 93 and your doctor doesn't seem concerned??? i was admitted to the hospital when mine wasn't even that high! i'd take it easy and rest. i hope your doctor calls you back soon and checks you out.

Well it was only 84 when I was there last Wednesday... that's why I called today when it's been 93 now for 2 days. ?They didn't even tell me to check it I've just been having the school nurse do it as a precaution. I do hope they call back soon. ?

I never had BP issues with my twins but this time around I'm having some issues.  I started working from home a few weeks ago b/c my blood pressure was a little elevated (130's) then yesterday it was 140/I forget the bottom number.  Effective today I am no longer working at all.

I didn't have any protein either but they did some blood work - I'm not sure what they are looking for there.  My OB said my job now is to rest during the day and take care of my boys in the morning and evenings.  THAT'S IT!  There is sooooo much I want to do around the house before #3 arrives but I am trying to restrain myself.

 I hope your BP doesn't go any higher.  Try to rest!

My doc said the same as yours. My numbers are usually really low, but were right around where yours are. I was having floaters and feeling kind of icky. They said as long as I wasn't having any severe headaches they would see me at my next appt. I was a bit surprised as well. Hope you start feeling better!
