Shoe organizing for kids+

Do you have a way of organizing your kids shoes?  I know that's crazy, but I'm always trying to keep everything organized & always like new tips.  Right now, I have both kids shoes in a lined basket in the laundry room on one of the shelves, just piled in there neatly....shoes are stacked...

DD's closet has rows of shelves in the center and I put them in there.

 

 

Honestly.....some are in the car - she kicks them off while we drive, some are in the laundry room, living room, bathroom and bedroom. This is why we can't ever find any of them.

We have hanging shoe organiers in both their closets. I got them cheap at IKEA it works well, holds lots of shoes and was cheap.

DD's shoes are in a lined basket in the living room. They are just tossed in there because DD puts her shoes away herself.

It's in the living room because that's where her shoes always seem to come off and I don't think she would put them away if the basket was in her room.

I used to have a shoe organizer (pocket one) on the back of each of the kids bedroom door but they couldn't put them away themselves since they are so high. I found little baskets at Joannes and now their shoes are just tossed in there and it is stored in each of their closets. Actually both kids love it because they will take off their shoes at the door and run into their rooms to put them away plus they love looking for their shoes when it is time to put them on. I know it is not neat but it is in their closet and it works for them and me : )
