Yes. My LO gets overheated very easily and has sweat big spots through his pj's before. Because of this - and because overheating is very dangerous and a SIDS risk - we dress him pretty lightly at night: long sleeve cotton onesie, socks with no pants, and a light cotton muslin blanket that we swaddle him in with his arms out. We also have a fan in the room to keep air moving, and keep the thermostat on 67 degrees at night. Often my husband and I are freezing, and the baby is warm. Keep an eye on your LO and stick to cotton especially at night - no fleece if you have a hot baby.
Wheee!

Yes, my lo has woken up many of times with his outfit & sheets wet. I thought he had wet himself but it ended up just being sweat. I agree with the PP and just dress him really lightly in cotton and keep a fan on the low setting in his room.
I always find that DD sweats when she is napping on me, but at night time she usually has on a long sleeve sleeper and a halo sleep sack and her little hands still get cold sometimes lol
