which is a better option: to change your babies diaper before or after being fed, especially at night. ?I say before, so that I don't wake him after he eats, but DH says to do it after, in case he goes the bathroom. ?What do you do?? ?TIA

We do it before. She falls back to sleep after she eats. But she's been STTN so we haven't had to do anything.

it depends....i smell him before he eats, if it is just pee, then i change him after he eats because he usually poops.  If it is poop, i change him right away

 I definitely change him before his bedtime bottle though

I used to change him after he burped so when he drank the last bit of his bottle he could just pass out in my arms, but then he stopped finishing hte bottle so I now change him after I feed him. Plus if he has a burp stuck laying down will help get it out.

I only did it after just because at that age he ALWAYS pooped while he was eating!  But otherwise I would have loved to do it first.

I do before, unless she goes poo while I'm feeding her.  During the night especially, she falls asleep while feeding.  I don't want to wake her by changing her and then have to spend 30 minutes rocking her back to sleep.  I am sleep deprived as it is!
