brown clots

anyone get them? ?i went to the restroom last night and 2 small ones plopped into the toilet. ?no cramps or further spotting(other than 2 previous random days of light spotting). ?i'm going to call the doc, but they don't open for another couple hours.

I did at 5 to 6 weeks.  When I called my Doctor they said not to worry brown blood is just old blood.  I had the clotting too.  I have had no further issues.  Call your Doctor for sure just to see what they think.

I freaked out b/c I had a similar experience happen to me a couple of weeks ago.  I passed a small clot the night before I had my first u/s.  My OB said that sometimes if you're laying down for a while or when you first get up in the morning, blood will build up and cause a clot to pass.  He didn't seem concerned, so I wouldn't worry.  Especially since it's brown, old blood.

i just had the same thing happen...except mine was just when i wiped. doc told me brown blood is better than red and that it was just old blood.

I just had this too and my Dr. isn't concerned. She had me come in today to draw blood just to check my numbers. It has stopped since, so I'm not worried anymore.

I had that at 6w2d just like that. Had u/s that day and all was fine!

Yay!  This post makes me feel better   I've been brown-spotting for about 10 days now.  It's finally starting to lighten up, but I was getting a few small brown clots too.  My OB wasn't concerned. Easy for her, right?
