DS loves his push toys (a fire engine that makes noise and sings and a lion with a nose that lights up and roars). He also loves his large legos, a noah's ark boat with toy animals and anything on wheels that he can push around.
Does your DC have a toy they absolutely love?
Also, I want to get him a toy vacuum as he cries when we put ours away because he wants to touch it, yet is still slightly scared of it. Any recs?
Re: What toys does your 14 month old play with?
so far BALLS are his favorite toy. He loves to kick them around the room, throw, carry, etc. His 2nd favorite are these toy Tonka trucks, they are small like 3"? He plays with them on the floor sometimes, but mostly just loves to throw them, or really ANY toy he likes to throw.
when our DS was afraid of the vac I would go pick him, put him on my hip and vac a little and just say "yeah, alright, mommy's cleaning" LOL! it worked
He still runs the other way if I'm headed his direction but he thinks its a game now.
okay, NOW i have the "roar!" sound that that lion makes in my head.
it's cute, so i forgive you. hee hee!
mine love this rubber ball (like a playground ball) i got them at target, these toy microphones (parents brand) that a friend got them, books with photos in them, and their fp laugh and learn house. and musical table. and the fridge dj. and the firetruck walking toy. and little soft tonka trucks. and real cell phones and remote controls. :P

My blog * We made the national news!
DD got the fisher price vaccum for her birthday and she loves it. She's not walking yet, but she likes pushing and pulling it along the floor. She also loves anything with wheels...her walker, a giant tonka truck, FP little people bus, etc.
Her fave toy right now that involves sitting still is a FP tea set she also got for her bday. We have little tea parties when we get home from daycare. It's adorable!
Me too! Sometimes DH will say it randomly just to make me laugh.
DD still loves that lion even though she's been walking for months. Her other favorites are her Little People farm and John Deere tractor -- she likes to line the animals up on the coffee table. She also loves dolls and stuffed animals, and she'll often pile them up in her baby stroller and take them for a walk.
She still plays with her LeapFrog musical table, but that's mostly because she loves music and dancing. She also likes the Parents Bee Bop Band drum set, especially the drum sticks, but that's for 18 months+, so she has time to grow into it.
