Reese Addison is Here!!!

I went in for induction 2/5/09 @ 7pm and cervidil was placed at 8pm, I was 1cm and 50% effaced. At 3am the cervidil was pulled since it kicked me into labor. I got the epidural and then pitocin was started at 4am. At 7:40am the OB broke my water. At noon I was 9cm and shortly after I was complete and +1 station. I was told I had to wait 1 hour before pushing b/c the OB was about to start a c-section and that person's spinal hadn't even been placed yet! At this point I was hurting a lot in my abdomen and lower back (I had some "hot spots" with the epidural).

Finally @ 1:42pm Reese Addison was born after pushing for only 7 contractions!!! She weighed a lot smaller than I was expecting, only 6# 10oz and 19 inches long.
