When did you or plan to tell your boss that you are pregnant? We haven't even told our families yet so I don't plan to tell work anytime soon...but I am definitely not looking forward to it.
We just told my sister over the weekend. We will be telling our parents after our first u/s on feb 20th. I probably wont tell work until maybe 12-15 weeks.
I told my boss as soon as it was confirmed by my Dr because I'm catagorized as "high risk" which meant atleast 2x as many dr's appts. Plus, I had HORRIBLE m/s and there was no way I was going to be able to hide it!

i think it depends on your work. my situation is a little tricky, so i won't be sharing until the end of the first trimester, after my NT scan results. that way it will be before i'm showing, and when things are as safe as can be. i think some people tell earlier, and frankly, maybe it can get you a little slack when you're feeling awful!
i'm not looking forward to it either, but will feel so much better once it's public!
I told my boss right away. I work in juvenile corrections and my job can be physical at times. Eventhough, I will not get physical through out this pg, I need my supervisor and direct coworkers to know why.
I told my boss when I was 5 weeks because I thought I was 7 weeks. She took it really well. I just told her I was growing someone to help me answer the phones and she laughed it off. Then I found out about them being twins and I'm glad I told her because I have more appointments than I would with one baby.
I told my boss the first day after finding out. I was excited and I've worked with her closely for 7 years. She gave me a big hug and said congrats. She knows I hate going to the doctor so she would be very suspicious with all my appointments-I think she would have been hurt if I waited to tell her. I think everyone's situation is different and you just have to do what you're comfortable with.
I havent decided when to tell work yet either. I am going to tell parents after my first U/S and I guess work after that.
Its hard to suffer the MS alone though. My parents came over yesterday and they brought lunch, and i was feeling so disgusting at the time. I nearly told them....but didnt. Somehow i got through haha.
Work is hard because I have to wait for one of the bosses to come back to the office before i can go for lunch and at the moment if they're late Im like a wild starving animal. Im so hungry and sick all at once. (Im bringing in snacks now)
Im not looking forward to telling work either as I only started this job in August.....
Ill be interested to know how you go

I'm going to tell work either OVER feb. break (next week...through e-mail) or the day we return (I'll be 14w2d.....will have had my NT scan, AND another dr. appt). I've told a SELECT few people there already - but hardly anyone. I'm nervous to tell, but also very excited...maybe it will explain a bit of my forgetfulness...LOL.
I've told a couple of people at work, but won't tell my boss and be "public" about it until 12 or 13 weeks. I am a teacher, and a lot of lay-offs are projected, so I'm waiting until after the day that the notices have to go out, which is March 15.
I'm going to tell at 12 weeks or soon thereafter. I don't think they'll be very happy as I just recently started the job a few months ago (I was in a different position in the company previously).
I guess I figured that if something happened, I would want to talk to the fewest people possible. The only people who know are my immediate family and my best friend.

Right now, we're going to tell our family at 12 weeks. Work maybe a week or so after (I'm sure I'll be showing too by then!). Good luck!
