Diaper Wipes Question

because I have absolutely no idea what I'm doing: how many wipes do you go through on a typical day?  also, do wipes "go bad" or dry up if you do not take them out of the original packaging?

I ask because we got a sh!t load of wipes at our shower this weekend and I'm not sure whether to return some of them or not.

Don't return them you will use a lot. Especially if you BF. I don't know how many I use in one day. I don't count. When I BF I used a lot more though.

keep them. As long as they are sealed they will be fine! We go through a ton.

You can never have to many wipes!  You will go through a ton of them!

I honestly don't know how many I use in any specfic time frame.  I do know that they don't go bad as long as you keep them sealed.  I used some from my mom that were atleast 2 years old.

They won't dry up unless you open the package. Keep them!!! You'll go through them fast. I have 2 in diapers and use a lot. You'll even use them for other things than diaper changes.

You'll use them! We go through a package every couple days. Not only will baby go through a lot, but you will want to use them for the first couple weeks PP. Trust me, you don't want anything even remotely scratchy touching you down there! I took baby wipes in my purse everywhere I went for a couple weeks just in case I had to use the bathroom.

If you got a variety that is good because I did and thereby learned that there is truly a difference between brands. I prefer Huggies brand, but I like good thick wipes!

I don't count the wipes but I can tell you that DD goes through approximately 1 container full every week or two. It is cheaper-and better environmentally-that we have two hard plastic containers of wipes, and we simply buy the boxes of like 800 wipes and keep refilling the smaller container.

 I definitely would keep what you have though.

LOL, I know. This kid shat like nobody's business the first month. Now he's not as free flowing.
