Bumbo question

This may be obvious when you have one, but I've only seen them in pictures: Why doesn't the baby fall forward? I see how it would support in the back, but what keeps her upright in front?

Re: Bumbo question

  • the butt part is kind of scooped out...does that make sense?
  • Loading the player...
  • It's just really, really supportive.

Not to say that Will didn't slide to one side or the other at the beginning when we first put him in it, but it surrounds them so much and with the angle the actual seat is at (it kinds of tilts back, if that makes sense), it's hard for them to fall forward.

  • the form of it keeps their legs a little higher than their butt and the center peg between there legs keeps them snug in there.
