returning to Target without packaging?

does anyone know if I can return an infant papasan chair (which was purchsed off of my regisrty) if the box it came in was thrown away? I would think no, but one of my friends told me they would take it back.

I want to exchange the item for a bouncer because DD hates the papasan.

    As long as you have proof of purchase.. At least my Target so they should all be the same. You know how that is though..GL!

    I would say no unless there was a problem with it and if you have the receipt.  Target will not accept returns just because it was on your registry.  You must have a receipt or the item is only a value up to $25.

    I returned a humidifier without the packaging the other day. But it was broken and I had the receipt.
