NBR: anyone use Peapod for grocery delivery?

Just curious- we've never used it but it seems kind of fun and obviously way less time consuming than going to the store! I am shocked that it is only a $6.95 delivery fee for orders over $100, I would have thought it would be much more.

It says you can use coupons and you just give them to the driver. That's pretty cool.

  • I would love to do it but they don't offer it in my area.
  • I have and I liked it.  The only problem was if the store was out of something they may not substitute (that was the option I picked because I didn't know what substitute they would pick and for some items I am a brand snob) so I had to end up going out to get those items anyway.
  • I use peapod?occasionally. ?They have rarely?substituted?and I love how they carry they groceries up the stairs to my kitchen. ?It is a fabulous service. ?I could not grocery shop for much of my pregnancy so it was a life saver. ?I still use them when I know I won't be able to get out and shop (like when DS is sick).
