It seems like anytime I do anything physical my heart rate sky rockets. It usually happens when I am doing laundry, going up and down the stairs, cleaning house etc.
I told my doc it was happening occasionally at my last appt. (3 weeks ago) That was really the beginning of it. He said that this was normal for pregnancy and as long as it didn't exceed for over 15 min I was fine. Well for the last 2 weeks it happens all of the time. I am a teachers assistant in a special education classroom, I don't sit down most of the day, and I am with students who move quickly that I need to keep up with. With this are coming what I think are brackston hicks (sp?) and pressure on my pelvis.
I am wondering has anyone else had this, what did your docs say?
Thanks so much...
Re: heart beating out of my chest
thanks so much for your thoughts. i haven't had more than 2 in an hour, so I think that is a good thing. I read that the heart rate thing is normal because of increased bloodflow from the babies. i have to say though it does not feel anywhere near normal.
it happened to me for the first time last week- freaked me out! I knew it was normal so didn't call the doc- but will mentino it at my next appt.
you may need to alter your work schedule- on your feet all day with twins is not good... esp if you having this heart racing issue.
