would you recommend them? how old was your dc when you introduced these videos to him/her? how quickly did they learn the numbers shapes etc when watching the videos?

Someone posted here about three weeks ago about these.  She said her DD loved them and she learned really quickly with them.  I think her DD was the same age, just over two, as my DS.  I wish I could remember who it was.  I tried posting again about these, but no one responded.  I'm still thinking about getting them for DS.

I have the meet the sight words that I have shown my kinders and they really find it kinda boring.  It barely held their attention (same thing for my three year old).  I think the Leap Frog letter factory ones are much better.

I just bought Meet the Letters because all of the fantastic reviews online abuot them.  We just got it yesterday and watched it last night. 

Pros:  Very developmentally appropriate and lots of repetition.  From an educator's position, I could see how a child can learn their letters.

Cons: Boring!  My DD was bored about half way through (she's not much of a tv watcher anyway) and I had to sit there with her to keep her entertained. 

 I am going to try it a few more times this week and she if she's interested.
