The man has been in such "denial" -- psuedo jokingly -- about not being old enough to be a grandpa. Today he calls (mind you I was seeing him tonight) to tell me that while cleaning out the attic (they're getting ready to move) he finds my first Pooh doll, which was in my Pooh-themed nursery, and he's bringing it to give to me to put it in the nursery because it matches so well (Pooh theme). The look on his face was so surreal when he gave it to me. I think it was the first time I didn't see fear for DH and I about the baby and excitement.?

ahhh- that's so sweet! my dad will soon be bringing my child hood toy box up for my daughter to be.. when he even talks about her his face just lights up!

Aww, so sweet! I don't think my dad has quite come to terms with the whole grandpa thing - but I also just moved out and got married and this will be his first grandchild

My mom saved a bunch of my baby clothes and I am so excited to go through them when I go home for a visit in a couple weeks.

O, how sweet.  I wish my dad would show some excitement or at the very least some acknologement, but that's a longs story for another time!  How sweet though
