scars from IV's?

I noticed a skin colored bump on DD's hand when she first came home. I asked the Pedi. last month about it and he didn't say anything.  Today, I just noticed about 5 of the same lil bumps on the inside of her ankle on the leg where she had her PIC line.  Are these scars?  My poor baby.  :(

    we have them too on hands, feet, wrists, ankles, and tops of feet...and dylan has a scar from his chest tube too. ?battle wounds....i wonder if they'll fade over time, i actually hope they don't....they're a visible "remember when", not that i forget, trust me, but on a day to day basis i don't think of the nicu and when i'm changing a diaper or putting on pj's they remind me of how far they've come.

    E has one on her head, I haven't noticed one on her hand. I have a huge one from my PICC line, hopefully they'll all fade ;)

    Keira has two large wrinkly areas of skin on the insides of both of her arms. ?The neo told me they are where blisters once formed from her IVs and they had to remove them to test. ?I really hope they fade. ?It makes me sad every time I look at them.?

    Lily has them on her hands, legs, arms and feet, her picc line one on her head is big and so is one on her leg where and iv got infiltrated. My picc line scar is also large and disgusting.

    DD has them on the top of her hands (probably on her feet and head too ... I just haven't noticed or looked for them elsewhere).  Right now the ones on her hands look like dimples.

    Yep. Robbie has them everywhere, too.

    When he was getting his IV on Wednesday the nurses commented how hard it was to find a place to put it because he has so much scar tissue. They can feel good veins but the skin is so thick they can't use it.

    It broke my heart..

    Brandon has one on the back of the hand. I will have to look later to see if he has more. I never made the connection that it was probably from an IV but it makes sense.
    Conceived twins with IVF January 2008. Lost baby a at 20 1/2 weeks due to premature rupture of membranes and held onto baby b. Baby b (Brandon) born at 26 weeks and 1 day on July 5, 2008.     Evan has one on his leg.  The pedi said when he grows up you will never see it or feel it.
