Non side-by-side double jogging stroller??

Does such a thing exist?  We're trying to find a double jogging stroller that we can use in the spring, but they all seem to be the side by side models.  Those are SO wide.  I was hoping to be able to get something I could use as a jogger, but also at places like the zoo, etc.  I almost had DH convince to get a Phil and Teds, but he says that's not actually a jogging stroller. My DS is 2.5 so I hate to have to get 2 new strollers since a lot of the time he likes to walk, but I want something for longer walks, runs, and longer trips, where he'll get tired. We have a sit and stand, but he's never really gotten the stand part, he just keeps trying to hop off, and the little seat is really uncomfortable for longer trips!

I don't think I've ever seen one. ?You might look into getting a trailer (chariot?) that you can hook to a bike. ?They have the stroller attachments that MIGHT be a little smaller than your standard double joggers. ?I think REI has both joggers and trailers.

No.  There is no front to back jogger (there are a lot of reasons for this from stability to control).  Maybe get a true jogger and a cheap front back double for the car?   Having two stoller's can be better than having just one.  Someone said REI had the bob for in the $300's on clearance yesterday (in store, I think).  You could get that and a baby trend for less than the P&T.

I would never run with my phil and ted.  I have a chariot jogger and love it, but it is a true jogger.  I don't use it for anything but long walks/running and walking to the shopping center with Target and groceries.

OK thanks   I'm not the runner, DH is, so I was more set on the Phil and Teds since it was more for me   but if he wants a jogger I think we'll get a BOB and find a better 2 seater that DS actually will ride in!

i agree - i would not jog with the Phil & teds - but i do love mine -and think you'd love it, too.

i'm all for many strollers to fit many needs i'd own 100 if i had the space and money!

check craigslist, too- you can get some awesome deals there, so you can justify having 2

fast walking...maybe light jogging with the p&t but real jogging, no.  I almost got a baby jogger b/c I want to really train again... but the P&T fit our overall lifestyle better... so I didn't. 

I've been watching craigslist... you may be able to get your P&T and then get dh a double jogger for his jogs.  A friend got a baby jogger jogging stroller (with the fixed front wheel, double seat too) for only $150... they are much more than that.

Is the Jane Powertwin not a jogger? It's a tandem stroller with three wheels. I'm under the misconception that all three-wheelers are joggers;)
