NBR Bump PIP question

Okay, so I know how to put a PIP, but when I try to resize it using the re-sizing arrows, it distorts the picture. I use the arrows at the corners which should re-size the picture without distorting it, but it distorts anyway. Does this happen to everyone else too? Do I just have to try to eyeball it? Or am I just nuts and can't figure it out? TIA!

Try holding the shift key down while you resize with the corner arrow.

It only worked if the picture started out smaller than the compose box.

I guess I'll just have to enter each pics dimensions when I PIP.
