Go to the DONA website (Doulas of North America) and they have listings for different areas of doulas who are registered. The Center for the Childbearing Year in Ann Arbor also has a list of doulas on their website. ?I know lots in the Ann Arbor area, just not your area, sorry, but hopefully that is a good start.
Courtenay Grabowski is in the Metro Detroit area. She's also a LLL leader and childbirth educator, so she has lots of experience. I didn't use her personally (just know her from La Leche League meetings) but I've heard lots of great things about her. If you search her name, you should be able to find a link to her site, I believe it's called Mothering Naturally Birth Services.
