like food, pet food, soaps anything like that.
If you do what do you make and does it save you money?
I did make dd food and I know make most her wipes they did/do save me money. I made penut butter today and that was so much cheaper then buying it. Just wondering what you make at home and if it saves you money. Amd any good websites that you like?

Re: npr: Anyone make homemade stuff
I make a swaddle blanket and matching sling for most of my friends babies. It cost me about $15.00 or so for both, so depending on how much I planned to spend for a baby gift it saves me money, but because I have a rep for making them, people ask, so I make them for a lot more people than I would actually buy a shower gift for, so probably not so much.
I cook from scratch a good bit, I think that can save money, depending on what you make. I also make DD summer dresses, but I could buy them for the same price at Target (just crappier quality at Target).
If the weather ever warms up I'm going to do a small veggie/herb garden. Mostly I sew clothes, curtains, crochet blankets, etc. If I had a bread machine I'd be all over that. We use cloth diapers on DS when we're home, that alone has actually helped a lot. I wanted to do soaps a few years ago and it's messy & kind of a pain. I've made pb but I think it's gross LOL
Bibs are easy to make, baby blankets, little felt toys, etc.
