Hi ladies, I'm going to be in SD (Mission Valley area) next weekend and was wondering if you can recommend some restuarants we can go to. We love mom and pops place, or hole in the wall restuarants. TIA.

    I don't know of any mom and pop type places in the valley. ?There is a lot of food and shopping, but mostly large franchise restaurants. ?Our favorites are: Gordan Biersch Brewery, Kings Fish House, PF Chang's and Cheesecake Factory. ?If your looking for more authentic places look into Hilcrest (Hash House for breakfast is a must), Little Italy, Old Town (for Mexican) or the Gaslamp (these neighborhoods are about 5-10 min. drive from Mission Valley). ?

    Enjoy San Diego, it is a great city!?
