38 Week Appt

We went yesterday for my 38 week appt.  Baby is doing great, still head down, but I made no progress.  I'm still at 1 1/2 cm and 50% effaced.  We have a plan now- We scheduled our 39 week appt for next week.  If he still hasn't come on his own by then, we're going to schedule to be induced, which will most likely be the following week when I'm 40 weeks.  So he will be here sometime around his due date and we're not going to go much over.  I'm happy about that.  I think he's going to come on his own.

That is great that your are 1.5 cms even if you made no further progress! Ethan will be here SO soon I bet you can't wait! I was due 7/12, induced 7/13 and C was born on the 14th. Can't wait to see pics of little Ethan!

Good luck!  I was induced at 40 weeks 4 days and had made NO progress and things went very smotthly.  So hopefully since you have made some progress on your own your induction will go well  (if it comes to that).
