I ordered a trampoline for M's birthday in mid-January. When I ordered it, it said ships in 3-5 days. Perfect. Then a I get a note saying it will ship on Feb. 5. OK. No biggie. Now I get an email saying it will ship on April 4. WTF??
I'm trying not to hate Target - but I've had a few problems over the past several months with my online orders.?

Um, that totally sucks. Have you tried calling them? I would see what they have to say about pushing the date back. Maybe you're better off canceling the order and trying to get it from someone else?
I did call them when they pushed back the date to Feb. I guess I got the last one and it's confirmed that I get one - but they are having trouble getting it from the supplier (or something like that.) But now I see it's back up online at Target and the price has come down a ton on Amazon, so they must have more in stock.
I'm going to call tomorrow and see what the deal is. Only thing that sucks is I used a $25 giftcard on it, so hopefully I can get that back if I do cancel.
Don't get me started.....try returning something to the store.
I tried to return a clothes iron because when I got home and opened the box there was an OLD, USED, DISGUSTING iron in there that someone obvioustly returned to get a free new iron. They accused me of putting the used iron in the box and called me a liar......that was a fun day. After calling me a liar they told me they could not help me and that I would have to write the manufacturer.....how stupid. I am pretty sure the manufacturer did not put the used iron in the box - obviously the Target employee took back a return and didn't check to see what was in the box.
Target seems to get worse and worse, but everyone still shops there. I try to avoid it.
I worked at Target in college - in customer service. We used to take back EVERYTHING. We took back brands that Target did not even carry. Now it seems like they've gone off the deep end the other way - their return policy is harsh.?
what trampoline did you get?
The ones we got ended up being a HUGE PIA when it came to shipping. We ended up getting shipped a total of 4. They shipped 3 weeks after they were supposed to and they shipped separately. LAME but we got it all straighted out.
I got the Jump Smart. Had I known what a PITA this would be I would've gone with a different site - but at the time Target was the only store I could find selling them.
Oh well - so not the end of the world.?
Not Targets fault. it is a drop ship item.
Ours were ordered directly from the company and they still managed to eff it up. I thought my MIL was just lost her mind but they thought no one in their right mind needs 2 trampolines.. so they thought she made a mistake. Then she chewed them out and some how we ended up with 4.
