I just finished our taxes.  I hate getting less back than the year before but the last year ROCKED, probably because we bought our house.  Ohh poo, on the plus side, my shirt that says "mommy's little tax deduction" is totally right for next year!

i don't even want to know what ours will be... either we will owe money again (which even though it sucks is a good thing, because it means the stocks did well)... or more likely we will get money- which sounds great, but it means the economy stinks and our stocks did poorly

 

i hate taxes... my fave memory is of my baby bro (who is only 16) being 6 yrs old, saving up exactly how much some stupid toy cost, going to the store, and bursting into tears about 'why, mommy why, what are taxes, i don't get it' because he was short 36 cents or something

Awww Howdy, don't worry between baby and daycare, etc., etc. you'll be in great shape next year. Sadly, DH is already excited about next year's taxes. Can you tell I married an economics major?

I am with you girl! My MIL passed away in 07 and last year in 08 we inherited all her insurance, house, etc.. b/c DH is an only child.  Needless to say we have to pay somewhere in the 5K mark.

 Next year this little baby will help us out I hope!!!

I just submitted ours online.  Since DH is in the military we are getting a pretty rocking return.  I really did not expect this at all, but I'm very excited.  We have to pay DH's speeding tickets so I'm thinking I should get a present and so should the baby.  He owes me since he is using our money on speeding tickets, right??
