I guess there's one benefit to having an overly involved, baby obsessed coworker. The free stuff!!!

She offered today to lend me her Medela PIS pump indefinitely!!! She pumped for like 30 seconds and is absolutely obsessed with cleanliness, so the thing is practically new. And a breast pump was one of my big budgetary concerns (I wanted a good one because I hope to EBF, but didn't want to spend the big bucks and wind up having difficulty BFing or something.) This is a huge weight off my shoulders.

She also offered me my pick of her swings, bouncers, PnPs, etc. She brought her kid to work (and I babysat - grrrrr...) for like 8 months so she had duplicates of a lot of stuff. I'll still probably register for most of it, but it's nice to know that hand-me-downs are waiting to fill in any gaps.
