re: my brother skipped school and his car broke down?

They found out today, he blew up the engine.

This is the 2nd car he has done this to in less than 6 months.

So my mom is stuck driving him back and forth to school because they can't afford to fix it/get a new car.She starts telling me that she can't babysit in June when I return to work because, she'll have to take Steven back and forth to school. Steven graduates high school on May 26. My due date is May 26th. I guess she's too stressed out to remember that.

I feel bad for her, I really do. But she kind of made that bed. When my son blows up a fcking car, gets caught smoking pot, or sneaking out, he will be confined to his room. Not given another car to blow up.

Wow-he sounds exactly like my brother at that age. Plus, your mom needs to make his as$ ride the bus, not reward him for his behavior by cheaufering him to school every day.

Is he the youngest? They usually get the most spoiled. My little brother is the same way....my parents have finally cut him off financially. He's 21 though, it's about time.

Yep, he is the youngest. He's 18, will be going away to college this fall. He's got a shiit ton of growing up to do.
