I was always told if it swings back & forth it means boy... and if it goes in a circle it means girl.
But I just took a couple of old wives tale tests online (yes I know I'm a loser) & it said that if it swings back & forth that means a girl & vice versa. Which one is it? It always swings back & forth for me... how about you?
Re: Wedding ring test
I always knew it as back and forth was a boy and circles was a girl! hahah
I love those silly wives tales!
I took this test & it said that if the ring swings back & forth it means it's a girl.

True haha. I always see you on here & never realized it was you, but I had your wedding bio saved in my favorites since like a year ago when I was regular knottie planning my wedding!
Unless it's really short, you can also use a strand of hair.
I have always heard back and forth = boy and circle = girl. If that's the case, it was right for me.
ditto -back and forth boy, circle girl. It was wrong for me though. It said boy but I am having a girl..
You can actually make it swing however you want by concentrating. I know it sounds really dumb but as a school teacher, this is one of the activities (we replace the ring with a nut) that we have our students do during standardized tests. It helps to break up the the test monotony. Anyway, they hold the string with the nut tied to the end and I'll tell them to get it to go in circles without moving their hands. I always works and they're always amazed.
