Healthier than a nutrigrain bar?

My once decent eater has become insanely picky. I can hardly get her to eat anything. Although she will scarf down a vanilla yogurt nutrigrain bar in no time. I am just worried about letting her have them too often because of all the sugar. Has anyone found something similar to a nutrigrain bar that has less sugar / is healthier? TIA!!

Earth's Best has some cereal bars. DS loves them, we have only tried apple.

We bought some organic fruit and cereal bars at Trader Joe's and DD loved them. We've tried the strawberry and the fig kinds. I think they also have blueberry and one other flavor. HTH

i give them the earth's best or other organic bars like this, but only because i'm trying to keep them of high fructose corn syrup. they LOVE them. too bad the cheaper ones have HFCS in them, grr!

Ditto pps...we feed the Earth's Best bars. We've tried both apple and strawberry.

i heard that a fig newton has more actual fruit that a breakfast bar, maybe check into those!

I was also going to recommend the Earth's Best but Kashi also makes one. It's the kind with the fruit showing in the middle.

You can also make your own.

1C whole wheat flower

1C oatmeal

1C 100% juice

Mix that together and divide in 2.

roll out the first half and spread fruit puree on it.

roll out the second half and put that on top of the puree.

Bake at 350 until they look done.
