Furbabies obsessed with belly

Yesterday my HUGE Rhodesian Ridgeback/Amstaff mix was having some quality time with my belly (he loves to rest his head on it, I think he hears her to something) when our little girl kicked him right in the ear.  He looks at me like I did it and I just started laughing.  He keeps putting his head back and she keeps kicking it.  Finally, he gets annoyed and goes across the room to lay on his bed.  It was so funny that he was mad at ME! 

Anyone else have a furbaby who loves the belly?

My cats (I have 4) LOVE my belly.  It's a constant battle to be the cat on top of mommy right now.

My little dog loves my belly as well but I think it is because of the cocoa butter.

My cat toosie has started to put her paws on my belly and kneeing it.  She is wanting constant attention these days.  The other two are just like oh ok whatever.

I have one cat that was never particularly cuddly until the belly came along.  Now she loves to lay on me, but gets frustrated because she just cant get comfortable for long!

My youngest cat is the same way - always wanting to lay right on the belly.  I can't wait for the day baby starts kicking at her.

something similair happened to me with my black lab this weekend.  She was snuggling (spooning) on the couch with me and the baby kicked right where here head was touching my belly. SHe jumped off the couch, cocked her head to the side and barked. THen jumped back up to try it again. After a few times of the same thing, she just stayed and snuggled. It was very funny to watch.

I have two cats too. One could care less, and the other constantly wants to lay on me. At night I have a cat on my feet, and a dog spooning with me. Who needs a pregnancy pillow with pets like these!

All of my dogs have been all over me for the last few weeks. But Sidney (the black one in my sig) has to be touching my belly if she is laying with me. Last night she was headbumping the laptop to get into prime position. The baby doesn't pack much of a punch yet, but he kicked/punched her last week and she stared at my belly, put her head back down, then popped up and started licking my belly through my shirt when he kicked her again. It was pretty funny.

I have a Chocolate brown Chesapeake Bay Retriever.  He has been EXTRA snuggly since I have been pregnant.  I think he knows there's a baby in there! He will lay down next to me, and put his head right by my belly.

That is too funny!!  My belly isn't big enough for my furbaby to even notice...and when it is it will be interesting to see if she reacts to it.
