Unexplained vomiting?

So.. Ben threw up about 5 times last night, every half hour or so from 12-4 ish. In between puking, he was happy and normal. Laughing, saying uh-ohhhh. He hasn't been sick (like cold/flu sick) and his brother and sister are not sick (yet, I guess). This morning he has seemed fine. I did give him some pedialyte, because he wouldn't drink anything last night, and now he just had diarrhea. As long as he is acting ok, do I not need to call the doctor? And can pedialyte cause diarrhea?

ick. yeah, my boys had that a couple of weeks ago. they were fine, generally, except, you know, they'd puke. and then they got diarrhea. it just had to run its course. and yeah, they got it one.at.a.time. grrr!

(but on another note, oliver is saying Uh-Oh ALL THE TIME now, and it's so cute, i can't stand it.)

It might be the Rotavirus.  We had it a month ago and it was not fun.  Aaron just started throwing up one day and then about a day later he had diarrhea.  For us it lasted 1  1/2 weeks.  I ended up getting it and so did DD.  I guess it could be a million things though.  Aaron was in the ER due to dehydration.  Just make sure you keep your little one hydrated.  If you give them whole milk switch to fat free milk for the time being.  Also we were told to give them saltine crackers and high carbs but low fat food.  No to cheese and any other fatty foods.
