It's a combination of special and non-cooperation. Last month was the big u/s, and they couldn't get the babe to cooperate, so they couldn't see all of his heart, stomach, etc. They also found an echogenic focus, which I was assured was normal & found in 3-5% of normal pregnancies. But, I got to thinking, if they didn't see all the chambers of his heart, how do they know it's only one spot on his heart? What if we find more at today's ultrasound, etc, etc. Big snowball thought process.
Really worried about it last night, but I give my DH mega-points because he made me feel like I wasn't a total nutcase after I unleashed all the "concerns" and started crying into my hot chocolate.
Anyway, today's u/s is basically a re-do of the first one. Hopefully everything will be fine, and hey, we get to see the baby again
