I signed up for a mom's group.  This woman said that she can't attend playdates during the day as she runs a dayhome Mon-Fri and would like to GTG on the weekends or in the PM. 

However, she said that anyone who would like to stop by her home on Fridays for a playdate would be welcome. 

I am not sure that I would like such an open door policy at J's dayhome.

Hmmm, I guess not. I wouldn't know the people coming in and out and playing with my dd when I wasn't there, and that would bother me.

by saying that, "I am not sure that I would be ok with this" is an understatement.  I would be pretty upset if this went on at J's dayhome.  People like this give dayhomes vs. daycares/centers a bad name=(

I don't think I'd be okay with that. I wouldn't want a bunch of strangers coming into my children's daycare.

I agree with you Faith.  That is not acceptable at all.  The parents of the kids at her dayhome would probably be upset if they knew that was what she was planning to allow.  Is is a pirvate or agency run dayhome?

If I knew about it in advance (when interviewing) and was able to meet the people coming over, yes I'd be okay with it.  Otherwise no.
