That I can't do a nursery. I mean, we'll be moving (probably) a month after the baby is born and my DH and I will be living with my mom and dad the first few months before (that way I don't have to pack while hugely pregnant), so we decided the only baby furniture we'll get before the move is a bassinet. But I see all these adorable nursery pictures and cribs and I just want to put a nursery together. It's watching all those stupid baby shows that's getting to me.

think of the money you will save. and then once you move you can make a special room for baby without any silly impulse buys!  plus you will have extra $ for extra cookies.

DH and I are in the same boat as you. We are moving about 2 months after the baby is born, so we're using a pack n play for the first few months. We'll buy "real" nursery furniture once we're in our new home. That will make for less stuff to move (we have to do it ourselves via Uhaul).

Uggg... that would suck... but at least you do have the buddle of joy to look forward to!  Just think of how many people have babies with so much less!

It?s not the optimal but we all make due... it?s ok to vent though... I know I am sick of moving already and we have only had 2 military moves.  Huge props to ya cause I can't imagine moving wile pg... it was tiring enough on its own!  Hope it goes smooth for ya!

I was trying to reply to yours- which pack and play are you getting? This is a really good idea we will be moving right around my due date and I never thought of this! It would be sooo much cheaper.

We never painted DS's room - I did it gender neutral (he was a surprise)...with PBK Chamois Lambie...

It was super cute to begin with but now that he's older I definately want to change it up.

the baby is due in august and our lease is up in october. we are planning to be able to buy a house by then so i cant buy a whole lot because one, we dont have the room really, and two who the hell wants to move all that just after you set it all up?
