Me neighbors sister and her family are having the WORST week ever! 3 weeks before Christmas her father in law died unexpectadly and it was obviously very hard for them since it was so sudden. Then the week before Christmas, their house burnt down, and nothing was saved (they were not home at the time). Then 2 weeks after that, her husband was hospitalized (he has some stomach issues) for 2 weeks in the ICU. Finally, it seemed as if things were starting to calm down. They rented a house until they get the insurance mess straightened out and everyone was doing well. This week their oldest child Kelsie, who is 12 started throwing up. Then she started seeing spots, her balance was messed up and then by Thursday the whole right side of her face was all saggy, it looked like she had a stroke. They took her to Cincinnati Childrens hospital and did a CT scan and turns out she has a brain tumor! They are not sure right now if it is cancer or not and they are going to try to remove it right away (they said that it is laying right on top of the center of her brain but it's not actually TOUCHING her brain).
I honestly don't know how much a family can actually take. I cannot believe that they would have to go through all of this in a 2 month period....people should not have to go through this in an entire lifetime!
So, even though you don't know then keep them in your prayers!! They need all they can get!

You take my ovaries, I take your yarns.
