I was in the kitchen and I suddenly felt wet. I thought it was urine. I went to the bathroom and noticed that there was dark red blood on my underwear. No clots, no cramping (although I did have a bit of cramping last night; nothing painful just uncomfortable). I have on a pantyliner now. Should I be worried?

I would probably go to the ER. I am a worrier and wouldn't be able to relax until I knew what was going on.

Bleeding doesn't necessarily mean something is wrong, but you should always call your doctor if you are bleeding in 2nd trimester.
