I loved the playtex vent aire wide bottles for my kids. Also the avent and playtex drop-ins bottles. My kids loved those bottles, they didn't like any of the small nipple bottles. So we'll be buying those again,,,
my SIL uses the Dr Browns, and we really like those, so we are going to try them. we registered for like the "newborn Dr Browns pack" which gives you a couple 4 oz and 8 oz, etc, figuring that we can always switch if baby doesn't like them.

Ditto. DH spend like 10 minutes in the bottle aisle analyzing each brand.
Although I will be BF, I have to go back to work, so...Playtex drop ins, they also have a pumping conversion kit that will work with the Medela PISA's that I have.
We used avent with DS so will probably us the same with this one. Although I will hopefully be BF for the first few week only before introducing a bottle of EBF to her.
We registered for the Dex Baby Milkbank bottles at BRU. They are BPA free, get really good reviews, and they're just cool. They are a bit expensive, so I plan on keeping some glass bottles around as well.

I really wanted to use the ventair bottles but I bought them for my SIL as a shower gift and she said they leaked. I checked the reviews at BRU and got the same feedback. Apparently playtex changed the deisgn since 2005 (when the kids I nanny for were born) and everyone is complaining about it. So i am hesitant to purchase these now.
My aunt gave me all of her Avent bottles (which are like $10 a piece), where just going to use those when we introduce a bottle and if she doesn't like them, we'll kind something else.
We are going with Avent. I heard the Dr. Brown's are good but a PITA to clean. Also with the Playtex drop ins I heard that you lose the milk measurement sometimes due to transferring in the bag.
Re: What bottles are you registering for?
DS 3.12.08
DD 7.11.09
DD 8.01.13

I used Medela (because it fit on the pump) and playtex ventaire because someone gave them to me with DS?
Now i'm going to use Medela (which now offers a 8 oz bottle size ) ?with this baby?
