We're supposed to go to a friend's house tonight for the Super Bowl. DD (3.5 months) got over a minor cold a few days ago - she had a cough and runny nose but never a fever. Our friend's baby (10 months) had a cold the past few days. I normally wouldn't be that concerned except the baby had a fever yesterday over 100 degrees, today she has no fever. I'm not sure I want to risk taking our DD, especially since she was never sick with a fever. When is a cold not as contagious? Any opinions? DH can go alone and I want to go but I won't be heartbroken, especially since I have to work tomorrow.
Re: When is a cold not so contagious?
No fever for 24 hours.
Same with if anyone has vomitting / diarrhea. Nothing for 24 hours, before they're considered "well".
